·      Loft - The Buffalo hide artwork in the loft has a book that gives its story in or on dresser

·      Buses to Village - bus stop in front of condo building

·      Eagle County Transportation Bus system (efficient and FREE) to surrounding area – Avon, Edwards, Eagle airport - on regular basis from Transportation Center (up stairs across from Covered Bridge in Village).  Can download schedule on “ECO” app.  Look at “Highway 6 Route” and “Valley Route”. There is even a Highway 6 Express hourly for limited time periods that goes straight from the Village Transportation Center to Walmart in Avon.

·      Groceries, etc. - Safeway, City Market, Ace Hardware are on the North side of I-70 about 1 mile west of Lionshead.  To get there by the free bus take the “West Vail Express” from either the Lionshead Transportation Center (go to far east end of top parking level – just before exit gate – take down stairway to the left then back up to stopping area) or Vail Transportation Center

·      The Market at Vail - just across the circle has most essentials

·      Garfinkel’s - in Lionshead, eat in or place an order to pick-up.

·      Bart and Yeti’s – around corner – great food, local atmosphere!

·      Blue Moose – in Lionshead, pizza, salads, etc. eat in or place order to go. Be sure to order for the Lionshead location – there is one in Avon also.

·      The Little Diner - For Breakfast and lunch (although quite large serving) open approx. 7am-2pm up the stairs at the end of the Lionshead Mall – past the General Store

·      Please limit the # of personal devices (cell phone, ipad, watch, computer) connected to the internet – too many will cause televisions to be cut off

·      Please be sure to UNLOCK the windows (lever on side) before attempting to open

·      Rental cars - Get the TURO app,“TURO.com” for a VRBO type rental for cars

·      Fishing Guide/Ski Instructor – recommend Howard Leavitt –  970-390-0119  Great guy and friend

·      For fly fishing - try Gore Creek that runs throughout the Valley.  Also Beaver Lake, Cross Creek, Eagle River, Roaring Fork, Colorado River, Homestake Creek, Grouse Lake, Turquoise Lake, Sylvan Lake.  A great packed (although PHD quality fish) fishing hole nearby – go to the skier bridge behind the condo and by the gondola – go under it and keep walking until you have gone under 2 more bridges (under one bridge, then bridge over creek, then under another) then past that is a “T” that goes over the creek again (don’t do that).  The “aquarium” is immediately past the “T”.

·      Instruction manuals - for the range, microwave, and dishwasher are in the bottom drawer of cabinet by refrigerator

·      Please do not cut items or place hot pots/pans on the counter top – use the cutting boards and hot plates

·      Flashlight - in each bedroom – please be sure to leave it when you leave

·      If you need something special call the front desk (970-476-1350)

·      Refrigerator/freezer units - Please do not adjust the temperature settings in the refrigerator and freezer (Refrigerator 4, Freezer 2).  Refrigerator/freezer units are no longer made in this size.  Major renovation will be required if it goes out

·      Streaming - If needed, log into your own streaming service (if you do not log out subsequent guests may utilize it) or bring your own streaming device (Roku, Apple TV, etc.)

·      Soap dispenser on kitchen sink – use funnel in kitchen drawer to fill with a more watery handsoap (like Dawn Powerwash Spray) – the thicker ones do not pump easily

·      Dishwasher - put soap packet in the door, shut the soap door and the dishwasher door, touch the “RESET” button on the far left, touch to select wash mode (heavy, auto, NORMAL, or speed 60), then touch “START” on far right

·      Toaster oven: If it will not turn on, check the ground-fault outlet on the back wall beside it to see if it has tripped. If so, it will turn off the power strip under the cabinet that the toaster oven and toaster plug into.  Press the button on the wall outlet to reset.

·      Parking - There should be an orange cone in the parking spot with “406” on it.  This is clearly labeled as a reserved spot for Vail 21-406.  Frequently unauthorized individuals will park in these reserved spots. To minimize the chance of this put the cone in the front portion of the parking spot if you plan to be gone for a while.

·      Hot Tub – On the 6th floor.  It should be open daily from10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.  The door code is/has been 5101 but management occasionally changes that – if 5101 doesn’t work call the front desk 970-476-1350.

·      Device charging - Each bedroom has an Apple charging station for phones/watches with a usb c connector for other devices (computer, headphones, etc.).

·      Garbage Chute – Down the walkway in a small room on your left past the elevator

·      Fireplace – has electric logs controlled by small remote (should be in coffee table drawer) or manually by buttons on front bottom of logs (has an electric heater as well as visual effect) and can be turned OFF by timer setting.  PLEASE turn Off after using.

·      Front Bedroom Shower – The section of the shower door between the tub and toilet tends to creep toward the foot of the tub allowing water to spray on the wall beside the toilet.  Please try to keep it forward to prevent this.
